PIKE NATIONAL FOREST RESTRICTIONS AND REGULATIONS
The following maps detail the usage restrictions within the Ranger Districts served by Mountain Communities VFD.
On March 3rd, 2014, and again on February 26, 2016, the USDA issued orders describing new prohibitions on firearm use in Pike and San Isabel National Forests. These orders are in response to the growing number of incidents caused by firearm misuse. They address WHERE you may and may not perform recreational shooting, and what types of TARGETS are allowed for use within Pike National Forest. It is your responsibility as a gun owner/user to learn of and comply with all regulations within forest boundaries.
